Halloween: The Curse of Michael Myers (1995)

No no no no no

Halloween 6 is even more awful than Halloween 5. Poor Paul Rudd's feature debut as older Tommy Doyle is mired in unlikable characters & obtuse occultery.

A now teenaged Jamie has been held captive by the Cult of Thorn in order to produce a son to inherit the Curse of Thorn from Michael. She escapes with her newborn son & abandons him in a bus depot before she's murdered. Only luckily she first called in to a shock jock radio show, which somehow leads Tommy Doyle directly to the abandoned baby. Somehow Laurie's adopted cousin Kara & her son Tim are involved, but it's not clear why given that the Strodes aren't even blood relatives to Michael. But they dress Kara up in a white gown & try to sacrifice her, anyhow.

Michael is finally stopped when Tommy does some incredibly anticlimactic & unexplained culty stuff with some pebbles & this godforsaken continuity is put out of its misery.

There's never been a movie that needed retconning more.
